I’ve been busy trying to clean house and catch up on our massive amount of laundry!
Isabela has been a little roly poly….yesterday she figured out that she can roll to wherever she wants to go…so she is on the move!
SO, in the near future, I have plans on blogging about 3 issues: breastfeeding, acid reflux, and cloth diapering. I just need to have the free time, which is so hard to come by lately.
In the meantime, I am asking you guys to pray and cry out to GOD on the behalf of my bestfriend Jessica and her husband.
Jessica’s husband was diagnosed with kidney cancer last year. He had surgery, and I believe they removed the kidney, as they believed the cancer was localized there. During this time, Jessica and Marco wanted to try and have another baby, but decided to wait.
Fastforward.
Jessica is pregnant and they just found out they will be having a boy! They already have a beautiful daughter. Well, here is the bad news. Marco either has kidney failure or the cancer has moved to his Colon. They find out sometime today, and then it will be nonstop appointments and procedures. Jessica is very confident in God’s healing powers and also that he won’t give them anymore then they can handle.
This is the Jessica I know. She is always practical, yet rightly optimistic about the future. She has a great inner strength and accepts life’s difficulties so gracefully. Sometimes, when I find myself stressed out, I think about my dear friend and how she always reacts calmly with such an accepting manner. She is just beautiful inside and out!
Marco and Jessica are really in need of our prayers right now. I have been praying for God’s total healing, amongst many things. Please drop what your doing right now, and even if it is just a couple of minutes, say a prayer for the Hill family. For my friends out there that consider themselves prayer warriors, please pray passionately and with all your heart!
You know, I have been thinking of how Jesus prayed. And, when he did so, he did it with loud cries and tears. When is the last time any of us have prayed so passionately for someone else?
So, I ask you all to just pray for them with all your heart.
“During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, He offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverent submission.” – Hebrews 5:7
Goodness. I just said a prayer.
